Beasley Mountain: Angie knows berries; blue, black, rasp.  You name it, she has them.


Whited Farms: Physical Education teacher by day, crime fighting produce saleswoman by day, Melanie knows what’s up.  You need to see her lineup of fresh selections from the farm.


A&P Farms: Beans, blackberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, muscadines, okra, onions, peaches, peppers, potatoes, squash, tomatoes (including heirloom) and watermelon.  What else do you want!?!


Stone Oak Farm: Retired Marine specializing in organic heirloom vegetables and European and Asian speciality vegetables.  I also have log-grown mushrooms as well as forest grown medicinal herbs.


Hooks Farms - Shorter


Gene Hopper:  Have you ever seen a 3’ zucchini or a rattlesnake beans that you can jump-rope with?  Stop by and talk to Gene and check them out.


Posey Farms: Its hard to say what is sweeter, Mark or his watermelons.   I would say his watermelons, but Mark is pretty sweet.


Carmack Farms: It’s hard to tell who works more, Jimmy or his bees.  Either way his honey is the best.


Humble Hearts Farm: You’ve never had goat cheese like Humble Hearts cheese.  Creamy, tasty, savory, good.


Food

Dough-to-Go: Never start your day on an empty stomach, especially at Valleydale Farmers Market.  Dough-to-Go makes some of the finest baked goods around.

Jittery Cup Coffee: Its Saturday at 8am and I need COFFEE! Where can I find some COFFEE!  Jittery Cup has some of brewing or bagged to make the rest of your week just a little better.


Al Hooks:  What makes Al Hooks special?  It could be his repurposed ambulance/farm truck, or it could be his boiled peanuts, but I think its his shelled peas.  Come find out for yourself.
